Marketing &
communications
for smaller firms.
Zürich-Wipkingen.

I'm Patrick Baur. For twenty years I ran my own small business – MeFirst, office ergonomics – and did most of the communications work myself. Not out of necessity. Because it suits me.

Today that work is called Zweitsicht. Corporate communications for smaller firms: strategy, language, design, and the finished piece. One person, every discipline.

«Above The Fold.»

Communication is
match-making

between you and your customers.

Your website is not simply a website. It is your sales conversation, still running long after everyone has gone home. Your visual identity – logo, cards, vehicle livery, brochures – is not decoration. It is who you are. It is the picture that forms in someone's head long before they know what you sell.

In smaller organisations that identity rarely gets the attention it needs. The people who advise and sell go out and win the work. Marketing is the other half: being visible, being present, staying in the conversation. So that the people who aren't looking today find you tomorrow.

That is the part I take on – as an external marketing function for smaller firms. Strategy, language, design, web, print. And making sure AI search knows you exist.

Want another
perspective?

There is a person behind Zweitsicht, not a corporation. I ran a company for twenty years before this, in a different trade altogether. That is where most of what I know comes from: what a smaller firm can afford, what it cannot, and where the talking usually goes wrong.

Got a project in mind?

Write to me.

You don't need a finished brief or a large project. One sentence will do: what is on your mind, what you are planning, what is not working. The simplest way to find out whether we fit is to ask. Send me your questions, your website, your half-finished drafts. I will look at them and tell you honestly what I think. It costs you nothing but a few minutes of nerve.
